Vauxhall Monaro VXR 500 (2006)
Possibly more bonkers than cool, but you have to love anything that offered 500 bhp for £36,000. It looks a bit like the old Volvo C70 with a bodykit, but the surfeit of power over roadholding means that it is hard to have more fun on four wheels. It needs great care in the wet and, if the roads are icy, don't even think about taking it out of the garage.
