DeLorean DMC-2 (1981 - 1982)
It's cool for two reasons: one, it had gullwing doors and two, it had a flux-capacitor (in Back to the Future, anyway). Ordinary versions were powered by a rather weedy Renault V6, but the DeLorean is more famous for its brushed stainless steel bodywork and the misappropriation of UK government money that funded it.
