Fiat 500 (1957 - 1975)
This cute little car motorised post-war Italy, and still symbolises the country as much as the leaning tower of Pisa or a Ferrari. Smaller than the original Mini, it could seat four, though its twin cylinder engine meant they'd need time to reach journey's end. A retro version arrives late this year.
