Nissan was formed in 1933 but it took until 2011 to become the second largest car manufacturer, overtaking Honda and Toyota in the process. Along with its regular model range of models, the marque has recently launched what it hopes will be the first mass-market affordable electric car, the Leaf. Nissan also own the luxury car brand, Infiniti.
