Bentley fleet transports guests around Cheltenham Festival

Updated:

Luxury car dealer H.R. Owen helped ferry guests at the Cheltenham Festival around in luxury with a fleet of chauffeur driven Bentleys.

The number of cars, which was made up of both Bentayga and Mulsanne vehicles, helped over 100 guests get from the Ellenborough Park Hotel to the race course complex.

Amongst these guests were Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall, as well as racing legend JP McManus.

The four-wheel-drive Bentayga coped well with the course's private gravel track, showing visitors to the festival just what Bentley's latest off-roader can do.

Craig Davidson, general manager of H.R. Owen Bentley Cheltenham, said: "It is an honour to be involved with such a prestigious event as the Cheltenham Festival, and this year's event proved the perfect location for the recently launched Bentley Bentayga to be put to the test.

"We were able to ensure that the guests and VIPs at the Festival arrived in comfort and style throughout the week, and they were all impressed with the cars' luxurious atmosphere and ride."

The Bentley Bentayga is the company's first luxury SUV, featuring a twin-turbocharged W12 engine that can send it from 0 to 62mph in just 4.0 seconds. It also has an equally impressive asking price, with an on-the-road cost of £160,200. Sharing an architecture with the Audi Q7, the Bentayga will soon be offered with seven seats instead of the standard five.

All of the cars that were used to transport guests through the Festival are available to view at Bentley Cheltenham, as well as at H.R. Owen's Bentley showroom in Berkeley Square, London.
