A young driver who swerved across a road and attempted to push a cyclist from his bike was filmed on his victim's headcam.
Dave Edmonds was riding along Wordsworth Road in Bristol when the approaching white BMW slowed and moved across towards him. The driver, dressed in a dark t-shirt, then reached his arm out of the open window, striking the 36-year-old on the hip.
Speaking to Sky News, Edmonds said: "As he came towards me I worked out that he was going to do something, and he got closer and closer.
"So I braced and stabilised myself and was able to make sure I didn't fall off.
"I could have fallen off, hit my head on the kerb and that would have been the end of me."
The unprovoked attack reportedly took place on Monday evening and Avon and Somerset Police are now reviewing the footage in an attempt to identify the motorist.
