Luxury car maker Bentley has launched its 2016 apprentice recruitment drive, with 42 opportunities up for grabs.
With 100 apprenticeship positions created in the past two years, Bentley is keen to make this year the best ever.
Applications open from March 12 for six weeks. An open day is also being held on March 12 at Bentley's headquarters in Crewe, giving potential applicants a valuable opportunity to find out about the programme.
With a commitment to the company's future talent, Bentley's recruitment scheme has been running for more than 40 years, giving hundreds of people an opportunity to gain a place at the legendary manufacturer.
Marlies Rogait, member of the board for human resources, said: "Bentley's apprenticeship scheme offers a solid foundation upon which to build the skills and knowledge required to become skilled experts and professionals in their chosen field.
"As our business continues to grow, we continue to invest – in our people, our products and our network. We want to attract extraordinary candidates – the Bentley experts of tomorrow – who aren't afraid to challenge and can add to our highly-skilled and passionate workforce."
Nearly half of the next intake of apprentices will be working in Bentley's recently developed manufacturing programme. This means that recruits will be developing skills in areas such as leather, wood and paint. The entire programme is designed and delivered by Bentley master trainers, ensuring any learning that is undertaken is of the very highest quality.
Bentley has been recently announced as one of Britain's top employers for the fifth consecutive year, meaning that places on this prestigious programme will be fiercely fought over.
