An incredibly rare Nissan Skyline GT-R Nismo Z-Tune has gone on sale in Hong Kong, for just over £350,000.
Despite being more expensive than some of the most exclusive supercars on the market at the moment, the Skyline commands a serious following, owing in part to its impressive performance. With a 2.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine, it produces 500bhp and is reported to be able to do the quarter mile in just 10.06 seconds.
The Z-Tune also comes with forged pistons, forged camshafts, a custom exhaust and upgraded crankshaft which all bring the Skyline into another league of performance.
This is transferred to the road through an all-wheel-drive system, giving all four wheels the very best traction on tarmac.
Put on sale by Contempo Concept HK Motors, the 13-year-old Skyline is reaching classic car status, thanks to its reputation of high performance and its appearance in the Fast and Furious films.
Though carrying with it a weighty price tag the Z-Tune – which was limited to just 19 units worldwide – will no doubt increase in value as time goes on.
This particular car features a rather plain interior, with only a few red accents to brighten up the otherwise dark cabin. It is finished with a Nismo nameplate, dating the car to 2005 and certifying its history.
On the outside, there's gloss black alloy wheels, along with a large rear spoiler. Downforce is increased with the inclusion of a larger front splitter and deeper rear diffuser.
