A driver's reaction times were tested as he faced an oncoming flood waters in California.
Mark Chagaris was driving along an empty California Highway SR 23 when he was faced with a sudden flash flood.
A huge amount of water approaches Chagaris, bringing with it piles of debris and mud.
Despite the enormous amount of water facing him, Chagaris remains calm and puts the car in reverse, backing away from the approaching flood.
Chagaris then calmly turns around and continues in the opposite direction.
He told WTHR that: "panic wasn't the answer."
California has experienced widespread flooding in recent weeks, with El Nino storms rocking the state with high winds and heavy downpours.
