British 4x4 manufacturer Land Rover has released a teaser video showing the interior of its all-new model, the Discovery Sport.
The footage, which you can view below, shows details of the car's interior, including its adjustable seven-seat layout, large infotainment display and a panoramic sunroof that stretches nearly the entire length of the car.
Gerry McGovern, Design Director and Chief Creative Officer said: "Versatility is a fundamental element of the Discovery family and with 5+2 seating, generous load space and configurable seating the new Discovery Sport truly deserves to wear the Discovery badge."
The video also hints at Land Rover's partnership with Richard Branson's commercial space travel enterprise Virgin Galactic, because school run SUVs and spaceships are natural bedfellows, obviously...
Land Rover themselves will tell you that the tie-up is a "marriage of Britain's most iconic brands" and that the two companies share the same spirit for exploration. The partnership was announced at the unveiling of the Discovery Vision Concept (which previewed the styling of the current car) at the New York Motor Show earlier this year.
The Discovery Sport is due to be unveiled online on September 3, before going on public display at the Paris Motor Show in October. It will make Land Rover more competitive in the mid-size SUV market, which is currently dominated by German models such as the BMW X3 and Audi Q5.
