A star-studded auction will take place at Silverstone next weekend that will gift celebrity fans the opportunity to own a slice of Hollywood glitz.
A 1971 Jaguar E-Type Series III V12 Roadster, once owned by 300 star Gerard Butler, and an Aston Martin DB7 Volante Alfred Dunhill Limited Edition, formerly owned by Jennifer Lopez, will go under the hammer.
Butler's E-Type is one of 7,990 5.3-litre V12 convertibles that were produced from 1971 and it is said to be in excellent condition thanks to extensive restoration work.
Mr Butler owned his E-Type for a number of years and is quoted as saying: "I went to the classic car place in Chelsea to look at something else, walked in there, and there was an old E-Type Jaguar convertible, the V12 one.... I literally took one look at it, and thought, oh, my, god."
This fine British machine comes with a fresh MoT and extensive paperwork detailing all works carried out.
Those looking for something a little newer should turn towards the 1998 Aston Martin DB7 Volante, once owned by actress and singer Jennifer Lopez.
The model is, in fact, a limited Alfred Dunhill edition bearing the run number 002 of just 150 models produced. It is rumoured that Hollywood actor Ben Affleck gifted J-Lo the car when they were courting but seeing as it has covered less than 15,000 miles, she can't have been too impressed by the gesture.
Dunhill Edition Astons sport a special order Dunhill Silver paint finish with black hide interior, piped pale grey with black Wilton carpet and additional overmats with Dunhill insignia.
Gerard Butler's E-Type is expected to fetch between £55,000 and £65,000, while J-Lo's old Aston is a veritable limited edition bargain at £30,000 to £35,000.
