Peugeot has added a new 'Red Carbon' limited edition model to its line-up, offering customers the opportunity to own one of just 300 models produced.
The limited models will be based on the basic Sport version of the RC-Z but distinguished with unique badging, 19-inch 'Solstice' alloy wheels and bespoke paintwork in Moroccan Red or Nera Black.
An added 'Black Pack' lavishes the exterior with matt black roof arches, a brilliant black front grill, door mirror covers and brake callipers. Xenon, directional and self-levelling headlamps finish off the front end.
Inside, customers are treated to special sports seats, which are finished in leather and feature contrasting red stitching. A leather-clad dashboard, steering wheel and short shift gear lever echo the Red Carbon theme.
A healthy dose of in-car entertainment is also included in the package, such as satellite navigation, USB input for the audio system and Bluetooth connectivity for hands-free phone calls.
Prices start at £26,000 for the 1.6-litre THP 156 petrol engine and rise to £27,850 for the range-topping 2.0-litre HDi 163 Diesel engine, which recently won the DieselCar magazine Sports Car of the Year award.
Those on the hunt for some serious performance to match the RC-Z's sporting appearance should head towards the new RC Z R – a powerful 270bhp high performance machine that's capable of smashing the 0-62mph sprint in just 5.9 seconds and go on to a top speed of 155mph.
