Citroen has revealed price and specification details for its new C1 city car which goes on sale in the UK in July.
The range, which will come in eight body colours including four metallic options, will start at £8,245, going up to £11,935, and with three- and five-door versions available.
As well as boasting up to three well-specified trim levels – Touch, Feel and Flair – the C1 will also be powered by two latest-generation three-cylinder petrol engines: the VTi 68 and VTi 82.
The VTi 68 will be available with either a five-speed manual or five-speed clutchless Efficient Tronic Gearbox (ETG), with the stop-start equipped e-VTi 68 Airdream equipped solely with a five-speed manual. Meanwhile, Citroën's latest three-cylinder 'PureTech' VTi 82 engine is available with a five-speed manual transmission only.
Buyers will also have three wheel designs and four interior upholstery finishes to choose from.
In addition, Citroen is including a 'convertible' version, called the Airscape, whose fabric roof will be available in three colours.
Standard specification on the entry level C1 Touch includes ABS, EBA, ESP, power steering, remote central locking, electric front windows, six airbags, an MP3 compatible audio system, a USB socket and LED daytime running lights.
The mid-range Citroën C1 Feel adds air conditioning, DAB digital radio, seven-inch Touch Drive interface with Mirror Screen technology and steering mounted controls, along with body-coloured door mirrors and door handles.
Range-topping Flair models sport 15-inch 'Planet' alloy wheels and additional features including a speed limiter, rev counter, reversing camera, electrically-heated and adjustable door mirrors, a leather steering wheel and dark tinted rear windows.
Optional extras include automatic air conditioning, automatic headlights, keyless entry and start, plus styling details such as black leather upholstery and various interior colour packs.
