The little Adam is yet to grace our streets but Vauxhall are already teasing potential customers with this chunky crossover concept.
The Vauxhall Adam Rocks (silly name, we know) has been described by the British firm as: "an urban mini-crossover that could open a new segment in the industry," and will debut at the Geneva motor show in March.
> We are not sure what "segment" Vauxhall is referring to because Mini, Fiat and Skoda all offer rugged versions of their small city cars.
Perhaps Vauxhall is talking about the rugged exterior that's coupled with a soft top, of which we can't think of many rivals.
Malcolm Ward, Vauxhall/Opel Lead Design Director, said: "Adam Rocks is just one possible answer to the question of how new development paths for this unique car could be forged."
Don't expect to see a crossover version arriving any time soon but, according to Auto Express, Vauxhall insiders have confirmed that a production version of the Adam convertible has already been finalized.
We expect to see it towards the end of this year, or possibly early 2014.
