Mad scientist creates DeLorean Hovercraft YouTube

There must be something in the water down at the San Francisco Bay as a recently released video shows a DeLorean DMC-12 hovercraft blasting along the beach at eye-watering speeds.

The crazy creation fuses the body of the infamous Back to the Future time machine with a powerful hovercraft. There's no information on the mystery professor behind the wheel (could it be Doc Brown?) but some brilliant bystander managed to capture the whole scene on their cameraphone.

Watch the video below to see the hover-car speed along the seafront, gracefully spin around on the sand and drive off again. It's a sight that puts Marty McFly's hover board antics to shame.
