A woman rapping the trial and tribulations of motherhood as part of a Fiat 500L advert has proved popular with two million hits since the video launched in mid-December.

The YouTube video which features Fiat's mini MPV, the 500L, based on its hugely successful 500 supermini, aims to appeal to "The Motherhood". Fiat describes the rap as "dedicated to all those women who have to be all things to all people and live it large on a daily basis".

Actress Rachel Donovan plays the role of a sleep-deprived mother who raps about nappy rash, being covered in children's vomit and expressing milk.

She starts the rap: "This is my crib, and these are my babes, my life and body have somewhat changed, I'm living it large and by large I mean bigger, at least I now know the difference between a tractor and a digger."

She continues: "I express like the best from these holes in my chest, wear my nursing bra like a bulletproof vest, got my bitches at my side and my hose in the back, I swap my sexy handbag for a snot-stained sack."

The rap also claims: "I'm a school run taker, fairy cake baker, deal maker, orgasm faker, nit raker, rattle shaker, cheese grater, night-time waker. I'm a placater. Peacemaker."

The video was uploaded on December 13, last year by Fiat in the UK and has had 2.26m hits.
