If you thought driving standards in the UK were bad, take a look at this video.

It's a compilation of some of the weirdest and most bizarre accidents to have occurred in Russia.

We have no idea why these videos always originate from Russia – all we can assume is that the nation suffers from a vast collection of clumsy and hopeless motorists.

In the 13-minute showcase of Russian driving standards, you'll see rear-end shunts, dangerous overtaking moves and even a Ford Mondeo driver forgetting to remove the petrol nozzle from his car... and then drive off apparently unaware of their mistake.
