Just as every driver is realising four-wheel-drive is the way to go this Winter, Audi has released an all-new no-wheel-drive model.

Kings of four-wheel-drive, Audi has revealed an all-new model that swaps the all-weather reassurance of its quattro all-wheel-drive system for the slippery waywardness of absolutely no-wheel-drive.

Called the new Audi Snow Sledge, bosses are calling the new model the most inexpensive Audi vehicle ever launched. The Snow Sledge costs £34.99 (plus P+P), and is available from audi.co.uk or from Audi Centres across the country.

Finished in sleek silver, and embellished with the famous four Audi rings, this must-have downhill accessory is made from an advanced synthetic material designed to perform optimally at temperatures as low as -20°C.

It features two ergonomic grips, an anatomical seat and rib profiling for optimum surface slip.

Weights of up to 100kg can be accommodated on board, and the sledge is suitable for children aged six and above.
