McLaren has just opened a ruddy great showroom in Abu Dhabi, and to celebrate the occasion has splurged a ruddy great amount of money at making a pretentious short film. You can see it below.
The film shows an MP4-12C supercar racing through some Abu Dhabi locales, including the famous Yas Marina Circuit. It's called McLaren Finds 'The Perfect Line' At Yas Marina Circuit.
It took six days to shoot and was made using the latest hi-def camera technology, called RED - four times higher resolution than traditional HD, apparently.
McLaren's Mark Harrison said: "We wanted to produce this video to highlight our presence across the Middle East and reaffirm our commitment to establishing our brand in the region.
"The 12C is as comfortable on the road as a premium sedan, yet faster than any competitor car in its segment and this excellent video shows this fact; capturing the beauty of the desert, the emotion of the urban environment and the drama of a world famous Formula 1 circuit – three locations where the 12C is supremely confident."
Plus it's got the word 'Yas' in it, which is a very dubious excuse to do this.
