The Queen of the 'Ring and Top Gear guest star, Sabine Schmitz, will put a prototype Bowler EXR through its paces in a series of super-charged challenges on the indoor track at Top Gear Live.
Schmitz is famed for racing a Ford Transit around the Nurburgring in just 10 mins 8 seconds, the record for an unmodified van. She's also quite handy with a BMW M5 and offers passengers a white-knuckle lap in the formidable 'Ring taxi'.
The powerful Bowler EXR is the first of three cars the German racing driver will hoon around the track during an all-new 80-minute spectacular. The audience can expect to see a chorus of tyre-shredding, engine screaming action as part of the show.
The EXR is a look into the future of Bowler's fourth-generation model and is set to continue the British brand's reputation as one of the world's most formidable rally raid participants. Based on Land Rover technology and with up to 500 bhp, the EXR will sprint from 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds.
