Could this be the end for Mr Bean's McLaren F1?

A Rover Metro couldn't kill it in 1999, but will yesterday's collision with a tree and a road sign be the end for the English comedian, screenwriter and actor's Rowan Atkinson's £650,000 McLaren F1 supercar?
I wonder, as one of the highest-mileage and best-known 240mph McLaren F1s, owned by the Mr Bean star, also caught fire after the accident on the A605 at Haddon, near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire at 7.30pm last night.

Thankfully, Atkinson, who holds a racing licence and recently set the fastest time of 1min 42.2 on the BBC's Top Gear 'Star in a Reasonably Priced Car' was able to pull himself free from the wreck and was looked after by a passing motorist until emergency services arrived.
He was taken to Peterborough hospital, where he was recovering from a shoulder injury last night. The future of his supercar was unknown.

Rowan Atkinson joins this year's celebrity crash league that includes Chris Evans, who had his ultra-rare Ferrari 599 GTO reversed into by fellow radio star Vanessa Feltz and retired football star Luther Blisset who totalled a Morgan at a celebrity race event.
The prang clearly hasn't dented Atkinson's nerve however, because it's also been announced that he'll race at next month's Goodwood Revival. You can't keep a good man down.
