Sebastian Vettel: Emotions take over
Sebastian Vettel hit back with his pole position in Hungary and showed his critics that there's no crisis. AutoblogUK investigates.
The night shift put in by the Red Bull mechanics paid off: Sebastian Vettel posted fastest time in qualifying for the Hungarian Grand Prix at the very last moment, and is on pole for Sunday's race.
Is everything back to normal once more?
Sebastian Vettel: Well, we can be very satisfied today. What's especially good is that I feel happy in the car again. Overnight, we've taken a big step forward. Now we'll see. Qualifying went well, tomorrow is race day.
You said on the team radio: "That's what I'm talking about." What did you mean by that?
We made hard work of things, especially in the last two races. Now we are back in the groove as regards the result and the feeling in the car – that makes me happy, particularly because we had such a long day yesterday. The mechanics were busy working on the car until five in the morning, I think. Then in such a moment, the emotions take over. We are all so pleased that today went much better.
