Scuderia Toro Rosso driver Jaime Alguersuari is hopeful of a points finish in the British Grand Prix in spite of a disappointing qualifying session.
The Scuderia Toro Rosso driver, who Autoblog met the week before the Silverstone event, only qualified in 18th position, one ahead of his team-mate Sebastien Buemi but remained optimistic he could improve in the race.
"We were a bit unlucky and also we didn't get it right because we should have switched to the soft tyre sooner," Alguersuari said, adding that rain may be the factor that helps him on Sunday afternon.
"We have good data in case it is wet again and also as regards the prime tyre on a long run, so we can be in good shape for the race. If we make the best of our opportunities, then it is not impossible for us to finish in the points again. We could be competitive not only in the wet but also in the dry."
We'll be following Alguersuari's progress and hope to speak to him again after the race.
