Nissan is giving one of its more unlikely cars - a convertible Murano SUV - its official debut at the Los Angeles motor show this week.
The company claims it will be "the world's first all-wheel-drive crossover convertible" and says it has space for four adults and their luggage, even with the roof down.
The car is due to go on sale in America early next year, but as of yet there are no plans to bring the car to Europe, which is a bit of a shame in our view.
After all, the convertible and SUV markets are both rather buoyant in the UK, what better than something that combines the two? Or is that just wishful thinking - perhaps drop-top 4x4s are best left to Barbie and Ken.
