Time are hard in the jobs market, so we thought we'd do our (small) bit to help those looking for work in the auto industry with a public service announcement.

Kia are aiming to recruit five graduates in the last quarter of this year on 12-month contracts and training them in areas such as sales, marketing, after-sales and logistics, finance and dealer training. This is a direct response to the company's huge growth in the UK new car market during the last 18 months.

Gary Tomlinson, Head of Human Resources at Kia, said: "We are looking for ambitious and talented individuals who possess the potential to forge a career within our rapidly growing organisation.

"Candidates should possess the ability to work effectively within our team-orientated culture, be quick learners, with the capability to adapt to an ever-changing environment."
